I am writing this letter for you to have a brief description of myself and my work experiences as well as my personal beliefs, likes and dislikes. I am a registered nurse for about 14 years of hospital experience specifically taking care of adult patients related to Medical and Surgical Nursing and a mother of two children is also my asset.I weighed 60kgs, 5 feet tall with medium body built.

To start with, i am the eldest among my siblings who are all boys. My mother is a retired public health nurse back home and my deceased father is a furniture businessman. I am a Roman Catholic and I’m separated with my first husband. We have a 21 year old son who is now on his 2nd year of college studying Radiologic Technologist. My current common law partner and I have a 9 year old daughter and both stayed in Philippines.

My hobbies are singing, dancing, cooking, doing household chores and malling with my family and friends. I consider myself workaholic and I’m proud to say that I don’t have sick leaves at work or any absences. I’m a person who can easily be with and a good friend in return. Also, they said that I have a good sense of humor with a good heart. Honestly, I don’t like boastful people and those who don’t step down on their shoes for others. Additionally, I hate to get along with high pride or showing off to much to others, because for me simplicity is the best.

Lastly, my expertise is taking care of adult patients both ambulatory and bedridden. Since i worked in a tertiary hospital, I encountered different cases like: Ortho, spine, neuro, medical, dementia, patient with paralysis and disabilities, patients with contraptions(NGT, Foleys catheter, Tracheostomy, Colostomy, PEG Tubes, Central lines/perm cath). It is also worth noting, that I handled patients also with BIPAP/CIPAP, Continuous Oxygen inhalation and a lot more.

Lastly, my mission and vision why I want to indulge myself in working as a caregiver is that I want diversification and something new. I know I can do better on what I am doing now. I want to see myself staying in a country like Canada so settled in terms of life and work balance. Being with my family in a country like yours is what everyone dreamt of.
