Dear Family,

I am Venus A. Pe, 41years of age, married with 3 kids, 2 girls and a boy. My eldest is 13, followed by 7 and the youngest is 5. I am a public school teacher and my husband is working as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Department of Public Works and Highways.

My mother is a plain housewife, while my father left us when I was one year old. My mother remarried again when I was 10. She had 3 children with my stepfather 2 boys and 1 girl.

Since my mother had another family I have to lived to a relative working as a housekeeper in order for me to finish my studies. My works includes: sweeping the floor, watering the plants, running errands setting the table, washing the dishes and ironing the clothes. At an early age I was already expose to a lot of work. When I finish high school my responsibilities had added this includes preparing the family meals and washing of clothes.

I took up midwifery in college but ended on One-year Health Aide course because midwifery is too expensive and we can’t afford it. When I stop schooling, I was employed by a family to be a nanny of their son. I worked for them from April 1, 1996 to May 31, 1998. My duties include bath the child, change his diaper and dressed him, prepare his milk formula, help them in preparing and serving nutritional meals and snacks, accompany them in clinics for their sons check- ups and immunization, do some housekeeping and laundry and assume full responsibility of the child when my employer has an out of town trips.

Being with children is a rewarding job but I could give more if I have enough knowledge on children so I took- up Bachelor in Elementary Education major in Mathematics, luckily after graduation I was hired at St. Joseph’s Academy a private school in our town. I handled children ages 7 to 10 and taught the subjects of computer, math and religion. Aside from teaching my duties are: accompany the children during recess time, supervise them during work or play, meet with the parents and report the progress of their child on a quarterly basis. Currently I am employed at the Department of Education as a 2nd grade teacher teaching the subjects of English, Math, English, Filipino, Music, Art, P.E and Health. Being in the public school holds a lot of responsibilities including introducing different kinds of sports, supervise the children during camps making sure everybody enjoys the activity, organize events and games on occasions like foundation day and elementary day.

I am also a hands-on mom to my 3 children, taking care of them even after my maternity leave ended. I woke- up as early as 5 in the morning preparing their breakfast and getting them ready to school. I make sure they are already settled before I prepare myself in going to school also.

When you hire me, I promise you won’t regret it I’ll do my very best to be your child nanny, I can do all the household chores, with the experience I gained since childhood I could able to do anything when it comes to housework. I don’t have the skills in driving but I’m very much willing to learn if it’s necessary.
My hobbies are swimming and baking which I used also as bonding time with my children.

Thank you so much and looking forward to meet you.

VENUS
